Welcome to Atlans, a mobile application designed for runners and cyclists to discover, connect, and engage with like-minded athletes and communities. By using Atlans, you agree to the following Terms of Use. Please read them carefully.
1. No tolerance for objectionable content
Atlans does not tolerate any form of objectionable or abusive content. This includes, but is not limited to, hate speech, harassment, nudity, threats, graphic violence, illegal activity, and any offensive material. We reserve the right to remove such content and ban users at our sole discretion.
2. User-generated content
You are solely responsible for the content you submit, including your profile photo, bio, and messages. By uploading content, you affirm that you have the right to do so and that your content does not violate any laws or third-party rights.
3. Community Interactions
You agree to interact respectfully with other members. Harassment, bullying, impersonation, or any form of abusive behavior is strictly prohibited and may result in suspension or permanent removal from the app.
4. Content filtering
Atlans uses automated and manual methods to filter inappropriate content. Despite our efforts, we do not guarantee complete filtering. If you encounter such content, please report it using the in-app tools.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Generate content that violates any applicable laws
- Infringe on intellectual property rights
- Create or distribute harmful or malicious content
- Attempt to breach or circumvent our security measures
- Resell or redistribute our services without authorization
6. Reporting & Blocking
You may report inappropriate content or block users within the app. We are committed to reviewing all reports within 24 hours and will take appropriate action, which may include content removal or banning offending users.
7. Account Termination
Atlans reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violations of these Terms of Use or for conduct deemed harmful to the community.
8. Age Restriction
You must be at least 13 years old to use Atlans. If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you must have parental or guardian consent.
9. Privacy
Your use of Atlans is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which outlines how we collect, use, and protect your personal data, including your name, email, profile photo, location, and chat messages. We use industry-standard cloud services to store and secure your data.
10. License to use
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use Atlans in accordance with these Terms. You may use Atlans to create or promote athletic communities, including branded or sponsored events, provided you do not replicate, resell, or exploit the platform itself without prior written permission.
11. Intellectual property
All content, branding, and design elements of Atlans are the property of the developer and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, distribute, or exploit any part of the app without prior written permission.
12. Limitation of liability
Atlans and its developers shall not be held liable for any damages, injuries, or losses resulting from your use of the app, including but not limited to interactions with other users, athletic activity, or third-party services.
13. Changes to terms
These Terms of Use may be updated from time to time. Continued use of the app after any changes indicates your acceptance of the revised terms.
14. Governing law
These Terms of Use are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Slovak Republic. Any disputes arising from or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Slovakia.
